It has been over a month since my last entry. A lot has happened since then. A new year has been born and for the third time I cannot believe that it will be another year with the same problems. Now the guys upstairs are openly trying to take over our department. They say all the problems come from our people. Without us they would have gone bankrupt years ago thanks to a loose cannon from their own department.
Anyhow, stories of disgruntled employees running in with AK-47s and spraying the place down seems understandable. Not that I would ever do something that hot-headed, but I guarantee, I am going to do something.
Luckily a team member in another department similar to ours put the puzzle pieces together and found a leak in the deparment. After confronting him, he is basically out of work, for the time being. Next we just have to keep our eyes open for others like him. Loyalty these days seems not to be a high priority.
As for other issues, I am in the process of pulling background support from friends and collegues for this one. I am going to make these guys wish they never fucked with us.
